Q: Vitamin E is an oil. How can it be available in tablet form?
A: Modern technology makes it possible to convert oil into a dry substance by means of a spray dry process. Dry Vitamin E Acetate 50% Type SD is a spray dried derivative of Vitamin E and that is why we can use it in tablet form.
Q: Can I use it when I am pregnant or breastfeeding ?
A: For breastfeeding women aged 14 to 50, the recommended daily requirement for vitamin E is 19 mg, whereas the amount for pregnant women is 15 mg. Similar to vitamin A, the increased requirement for vitamin E is meant to make up for the vitamin’s loss in breast milk.
