Aloe & Rooibos Health Drink is an antioxidant juice that helps to boost and strengthen your immune system. Antioxidants help prevent or slow damage to cells caused by free radicals (unstable molecules that the body produces as a reaction to environmental and other pressures such as pollution, alcohol, tobacco smoke, and heavy metals), helping to prevent disease and ageing.
Aloe has been used for many generations as a natural health promoting drink. Aloe Ferox, as known as Cape Aloe is indigenous to South Africa and contains 28% more aloin (laxative component) and 36% more amino acids than Aloe vera.

Why is Aloe Pectin from the Aloe Ferox superior to Aloe Ferox extract?
The Aloe Ferox leaf consist of 3 sections and is used to obtain optimum results in micronutrients:
- The green skin is dried and ground to a powder and used in tea and health supplements.
- The bitter sap, underneath the skin very rich in aloin (a natural laxative). Aloin is easily separated from the gel like inner leaf and has anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant activities.
- The core of the leaf is rich in amino acids, minerals, vitamins, polysaccharides, enzymes and lipids.
Aloe Pectin uses all three of the above components of the leaf. Aloe Ferox powder extract only uses the leaf gel/juice part of the leaf.
