Normal and combination skin are two of the most common, yet often misunderstood, skin types. Normal skin is considered the ideal: balanced, with minimal concerns. But just because it’s low maintenance doesn’t mean it doesn’t need care!
Combination skin, on the other hand, is a little trickier – typically oilier in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) and drier or normal on the cheeks. When it comes to skin, knowledge is power – and the right routine makes all the difference.

Cleansing in the morning can lead to over-cleansing that can disrupt your skin barrier, strip away tour skin’s natural oils and lead to dryness or irritation. In the morning you can rinse your face with lukewarm Rooibos water (dilute a cup of Rooibos in your wash basin water) and apply your treatment products as required with the Annique Rooibos moisturiser best suited to your skin and a sunscreen.

Cleanse only once a day, at night. Gently massage onto your face and neck using circular motions, then rinse with lukewarm water infused with green Rooibos. Press your skin dry with a clean towel. After cleansing, apply your preferred Essense and/or Forever Young treatment product, then lock in hydration with the Hydrafine Moisturiser and protect with Annique Rooibos sunscreen.
